Calling all Female Democratic Leadership

Just a quick addendum to an earlier diary.

from New York Times article:

With the McCain-Palin team courting undecided female voters, including some who backed Mrs. Clinton in the Democratic primaries, Obama aides say they are counting on not only Mrs. Clinton but also Democratic female governors to criticize their Alaskan counterpart, Ms. Palin -- and, by extension, Mr. McCain -- including Janet Napolitano of Arizona and Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas.

I like this approach, sorta blunts the sexist meme.  Maybe they will tell Palin to stop "whining".

Don't Get Your Hopes Up with Hillary (none / 0)

CLASSIC case of wishful thinking on the horizon. . .

... notice how Obama's advisors say Hillary will produce a "forceful response" to Palin . . .

then Hillary's advisers immediately throw cold water on it saying, "don't overestimate the effect" (Hillary could have) and "noting that she had other commitments this fall, like campaigning and raising money for Senate candidates" . . .

in other words don't get your hopes up that Hillary will save you as you WILL be disappointed.

If you had everything, where would you put it?

Correct me if I'm wrong (none / 0)

But isn't this Biden's job?  Attack dog is supposed to be the VP candidates mission.  Can we stop being so namby-pamby and actually treat this like a real election now?

If we are afraid of offending some people and driving them away I got a newsflash for you.  They weren't going to vote Obama anyway

There is such a thing as being too nice

i don't think anyone is afraid, i think everyone will be out there doing their part.  how is opening up the flood gates being nice, i don't think any of them are sitting down to tea with the governor.

i think we all have to push back against this nut.
